Dr. Ted Askwith, PsyD is committed to helping others find freedom through evidence-based practices. He works with all ages and specializes in cognitive behavioral treatment of anxiety disorders in clients with co-occurring medical conditions. He emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and self-compassion.
Evidence-based practices provide the blueprint for clients to live according to their dreams rather than their fears. Clients are able to draw on their existing strengths, reconnect with what is most important to them, and cultivate resilience. Clients discover that they are capable of far more than they believed possible.
Licensed since 2013, Dr. Askwith has over a decade of experience working within medical clinics and in-patient units. He has received specialty training in the treatment of anxiety disorders, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Dr. Askwith completed his PsyD from Pacific University in Hillsboro, OR. He completed his residency in rural Alaska. Born and raised in Northern Michigan, Dr. Askwith has lived in Oregon for over 20 years. He loves camping with his family, playing mandolin, and exploring wild places.
