Virtual Services During COVID-19
Portland Anxiety Clinic is here to support you during the CDC recommended social distancing period. We want to ensure you and your family are safe during this time while still having access to needed psychotherapeutic services. Portland Anxiety Clinic is proud to continue to offer our Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programming (PHP) virtually. Additionally, we can offer virtual visits to individuals at both the IOP and PHP levels of care in the following states:
We are also continuing to offer individual and family therapy services via telehealth. These services can also be offered to individuals and families in states listed above by specific providers; however, most of our providers can offer services in Oregon and Washington. We will be able to offer these services without interruption.
Additional Services Offered at this Time
Portland Anxiety Clinic is also offering coaching services for individuals and families. Patients often have difficulty completing therapy homework and may need a virtual coach to help complete the necessary steps taken outside the therapy process. In order for evidence-based therapy to be successful it is important to complete homework assignments. Our clinical staff can help individuals virtually complete their therapy homework assignments. Please call our mainline to set up an appointment.
Health Anxiety Services
During the COVID outbreak many of us may experience an increase in anxiety focused on health and health related conditions. At Portland Anxiety Clinic we specialize in health-related fears as well as other anxiety and depressive related difficulties. We understand that this period may be hard for many of us and will likely increase our vigilance surrounding health-related concerns. The providers at Portland Anxiety Clinic will be available to provide you and your loved ones with virtual treatment to manage your health-related anxiety concerns.
Homebound Depression Services
Portland Anxiety Clinic is not limited to working with individuals and families who suffer from anxiety and related conditions. We also specialize in working with individuals who suffer from depressive problems. During the period of recommended social distancing, we recognize that limitations is engaging in activities that you once enjoyed (e.g., socializing, sports and sporting events, work related activities, playing with friends and family, etc.) may not be as accessible. In turn, these activity limitations may cause some individuals to experience depressive symptoms (e.g., loss of interest in things, depressed mood, feeling hopeless or helpless at times, etc.). Portland Anxiety Clinic can help with these challenges using evidence-based methods and virtual visits (telehealth). Please contact our main line to set up a time for an initial evaluation to gain a better understanding of what we can do to help you during this period.
