Sean holds two master’s degrees, one in counseling psychology from Avila University, and another in clinical psychology from Pacific University, school of graduate psychology. He is currently continuing his pursuit of a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University. Sean utilizes an integrative approach drawing from interpersonal process therapy, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy. He works with adults and older adults.
Having previously worked within an inpatient hospital setting he values interprofessional collaboration to provide holistic care for all patients. Given this, when appropriate he will coordinate with other professionals within a patient’s life (treatment providers, schools etc.). Due to his experience of working in community mental health settings Sean has experience working with a wide range of diagnoses including trauma, depression, anxiety, severe and persistent mental illness, and personality disorders.
Sean is supervised by Dr. Niles Cook, the Director of Training at the Portland Anxiety Clinic.
